Role: Wood Sawman

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Attractive Overtime Rates:

• Weekdays: x1.3

• First 8 hours of weekend work: x1.5

• Second 8 hours of weekend work: x2

Job Purpose / Nature of Work

• Pre-cut wood lengths to various sizes

• Maintain stock levels using the Kanban system

• Cut bespoke lengths to suit specific packs

Main Duties / Job Specific Tasks

• Keep packing stations supplied with wood to avoid downtime

• Ensure the wood station is stocked with the most common sizes

• Cut bespoke wood lengths as required

• Maintain good stock levels of purchased wood

• Keep the wood preparation area clean and tidy
